UPCOMING EVENTS
Date: TBD
We are co-hosting an Anti-Racist Giving Workshop with Social Justice Fund, the Coalition of Anti-Racist Whites, and the Portland chapter of Resource Generation. At this interactive workshop, we’ll discuss:
Topics surrounding race, reparations, fund-shifting, mutual aid
Questions like ‘How do we decide when, where, and how much to give?’
Join us to work through these questions together and begin to build our personal social justice giving plans.

PAST EVENTS
Co-Working Sessions
Periodically the PDX Housing Solidarity Project hosts co-working sessions for individuals who want work on our giving plans and other direct actions in a group.
These are shared spaces for people to chat, plan, and act on their anti-racist, housing-related wealth redistribution efforts. For many of us, this work necessitates community and is ushered forward best with structured time, space, and support.
If you are interested in joining, the next session, let us know!
The Privileged Panel: A Q&A About Redistribution of Housing-Related Wealth
In April 2023 we hosted a panel discussion and Q&A session with four Portlanders who have creatively redistributed wealth towards housing equity. Before the panel discussion, we briefly recapped the history of racism in housing and city planning, and we gave an overview of what the PDX Housing Solidarity Project does.
PDX Housing Solidarity Project Kickoff Event
Our first event in March 2022 introduced the PDX Housing Solidarity Project, described the history of racism in housing and city planning, provided some examples of people who have redistributed wealth to support Black and Native homebuyers, and offered ways to take action.
